Training Overview

The WinTRF Training class will focus on improving your skills with the WinTRF Estimating System. The class will take place over a two day period.

Topics covered during the first day will be:

  • Utilizing the breakouts and templates to their fullest potential
  • Speed takeoff tricks
  • Various methods of taking off fixtures, gear, branch
  • Feeder takeoff shortcuts

Using the latest version of the WinTRF System.

Time & Material customers will receive comprehensive instruction in the creation of customer, jobs and invoices. The use of different profiles to treat customers differently depending on there tax status, and other criteria.

Invoice manager customers will receive instruction in the creation and management of schedule of values, change orders and stored material in the preparation of certified invoices.

The second day is devoted to the management of the databases. Subjects included will be:

  • Management of the Parts File and its Indexes. Including adjusting Material Prices and Labor Units so that they fit the local economy and labor pool.
  • Management of the Assembly File and its Indexes. The student will be instructed in the proper methods of creating or modifying indexes to comply with standard local usage.
  • Management and Instruction in the use and creation Menus and Templates.
  • Procedures to be used in automatically inserting external prices into material fields.

The class is designed for users who know the basics of the system and want to further increase their speed and efficiency. The class will be taught using an overhead display of the teacher's computer screen. If you have a portable computer you are welcome to bring it to follow along. Coffee and lunch will be provided.
