Pervasive ODBC Engine Interface

1. Click on the Start button > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)
   
2. Click on the white space so no data source is highlighted and click the add button
   
3. Select Pervasive ODBC Engine
   
4. In Data Source Name enter ELESTDATA
5. Then under Database click > Create
   
6. In Database Name enter ELESTDATA
7. Under Dictionary Location click > Browse and locate the Certin directory
   
8. Click > OK to complete this process
   
   To ensure you have completed this correctly take the following steps:
   1. Click on the Start button > Programs > Pervasive > PSQL > Control Center & Documentation
   
   2. Click on Engines if you see the name of your workstation and the database under the tree then you have followed the steps successfully.
