We offer Virtual and On-Site training courses. These courses are basic and advanced. The basic course is for day to day use of the software, while the advanced is more for database maintenance and customization.
Cert-In Software Systems,
Inc. was
incorporated in Florida in 1996 as a software
development
company whose primary objective was to provide easy to use tools for contractors. In
January
of 1997 we acquired the rights to maintain, modify, upgrade and distribute the TRF
family of
products. During the last twenty years we have produced Windows versions of the
Estimating
and Time & Material programs, using state of the art development and data
management
systems. In the most recent two years the programs recieved a complete overhaul so
that they
are compatible with Windows versions now and in the future.
Eric W. Davenport, President of Cert-In Software Systems, Inc. managed an overseas
office for
a large Florida Contractor for 11 years. During that time he had full responsibility
for the
development of estimates, purchasing of material, and management of many projects.
The
projects were multi-trade projects, which included HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler,
Electrical, Fire Detection and Chemical Fire Suppression systems.
Mr. Davenport’s background in the management of a contracting business gave him a
clear
understanding in the need to be able to accurately prepare an estimate quickly and
efficiently. This understanding led him into the preparation of programs that would
make it
easy for estimators and project managers to accomplish their tasks. The creation of
the
first versions of the Cert-In Invoice Manager and the Cert-In Purchase Order
programs, were
based entirely on a need to provide a project manager with the tools that he could
use to
quickly prepare and manage schedules of values and invoices and purchase material
for a
project.

I have been with this company (TRF) when they thy started out as a Dos platform. Eric purchased the company and converted the program to a Windows platform. All issues are address quickly and resolved. Not only is this a great program but there customer service and support is amazing. I would highly recommend there estimating program. Fastest Electrical Estimating Software Out there. Cert-In's support is fantastic! I never have to wait and always get my problem solved quickly and on the first call. Ease of use and the speed of the take-off. Thousands of ready built assemblies all ready to go. The integration between you eTakeoff is the really neat part of this system. The special assemblies are so fast and easy to build, you can customize any estimate easily and fast. The ability to break out portions of the bid is very flexible and almost unlimited in how you want the breakout done. Also very fast in making the breakouts. There are very good videos of how to do different things and are easy to follow.
I purchased my first system back in March of 1995 a SD150 estimating system, I now have The Estimating System V10.6, T & M Billing V9.1 and Invoice Manager V.10. There was never an issue which they could not resolve for me. They always take care of the problem when I call or get back to me the same day. Back when Windows Vista came out many business were having problems running their software on the Vista Platform and return to their previous Windows Program. I couldn't get the estmating program working correctly after buying a new computer with Vista. Cert-In had me send the computer to them (proir to on screen help) and within a week I had the computer back working 100% correctly. This system is extremely easy to learn. You can use Specific menues to find parts or assemblies or Templates menues which are or you can designed for specific type of work for rapid input.
